  I do not know why some students are bogged down with the topics for the analytical essay. Just look around, there are so many topics that can be analyzed. You can choose any burning issue for your analytical essay and discuss it.

Let me give you an example. For instance, these days the problem of school uniform is widely discussed. There are advocates who think that school uniform should be obligatory for the students of the high schools. There are also people who do not support this idea.

So, let us analyze this problem as if we are writing the analytical essay. We are going to consider the arguments for school uniform and analyze whether they are really strong.

The argument about economic benefits of school uniform.  People tend to think that the parents will have to spend less money on buying clothes for their kids.  Well, perhaps it is true and you child will be wearing the same clothes to the school. However, are not you going to spend money on his/her wearing after the classes? The students definitely will not wear school uniform all the time, so this argument seems to be pointless.

The argument about learning environment in the schools. Some body thinks that school uniforms will help students to be more disciplined, and thus making the learning environment stricter. However, if the child does not follow some simple rules of behaving at school, I guess uniform will be helpless.

The argument about socioeconomic differences. This argument also does not seem to be sound. Yeah, everybody will be dressed the same. However, somebody has more money and drives a posh car, while somebody is walking to school.

Thus, analyzing all the arguments we can see that school uniform will not help get rid of all the problems at our high schools.
